Braunschweig, Dukedom. An Order Of Henry The Lion, I Class Honour Medal Hold 1956-1957 (unnamed)(Orden Heinrich des Lwen, Ehrenzeichen I. Klasse). Instituted on 25 April 1834 by Duke Wilhelm. (1903 1918 issue). Constructed of silver, the obverse with a central monogram of Duke Wilhelm inside of an oak leaf wreath, the reverse with an inscription of IMMOTA FIDES (UNSHAKABLY FAITHFUL), unmarked, measuring 31. 12 mm in diameter, weighing 13. 7 grams, in extremely fine condition.
