Some days, the perfect setting is the pool and sundeck, watching the river go by. But some days, Zambia's wild calls you in for an adventure. Whether fishing, game viewing or a boat cruise is your thing, our talented guides can accommodate you. But no matter your choice, we invite you to slow down and savour the untouched bush.
Fishing
There’s nothing quite like watching the sunrise over the Zambezi, coffee in hand and listening to the birds and hippos start their day whilst your fishing boat gets ready. We are fortunate enough to be right on top of one of the river’s best Tiger Fishing drifts, and it’s calling your name. If the early morning is not your thing, our fishing anglers will happily take you out for a spot of afternoon fishing.
Fishing rods and tackle are included at no additional cost. However, damage or loss of any items will incur charges. Our fishing packages are subject to local fishing laws; therefore, we do not fish in the GMA from 1st December to 1st March. Please note we have a strict catch-and-release policy.
Game Viewing
We invite you to enjoy the thrill and adventure of a game drive in one of Zambia’s most magical places, the Lower Zambezi. This excursion is a full day with our highly qualified and experienced guides. The park hosts large herds of elephants, lions, leopards, hyenas, buffalo, zebra, waterbuck, and many other antelope. Less common are the African wild dog and aardvarks. The Lower Zambezi National Park offers incredible bird-watching, with over 300 species recorded in the area.
Start the game drive experience by taking a boat trip to the national park; thereafter, a game-viewing vehicle, waiting amongst the large towering Winterthorns, will take the guest for their game drive. All meals and drinks throughout the day will be provided. Should you have any special viewing requests, please ask your guide.
Boat Cruises
Drift down the Zambezi in one of our boats, with the sounds of nature enchanting you. As the river comes to life, sit back, relax and take it all in; hippos cooling down, elephants wandering the river to drink, Fish Eagles soaring for prey, and crocodiles sunbathing. You are exactly where you need to be. We offer:

Island Picnic
A picnic, just for two or a few. Enjoy your time on a nearby sandbank, where you can discover our lush picnic scene: blankets, comfy cushions, safari chairs, a picnic basket, sparkling non-alcoholic wine on ice, coffee in a flask, delicious picnic food and of course, that view.

Village Cultural Excursions
Visit an authentic Zambian village, witness rural life first-hand in Zambia and interact with some local fishermen.
Experience the local culture and enter a different world as you explore local traditions on the edge of the Zambezi River. The village you will visit is a short drive from the camp, where you can interact with the local residents in their daily tasks, visit rural homes, see families tending their fields, mending fishing nets and possibly get to help with some of the day-to-day chores.
